to those who gave it a favourite and didn't get a personal thanks - please don't think that it implies a lack of appreciation. the truth is quite the opposite - i just got somewhat overwhelmed!! :heart:

Daily Deviation

Given 2006-04-02

personal effects is a wonderfully indirect and yet honest and open view of self by ~disgraceful1. Submitted in the Show Yourself self portrait contest, this piece won the 3rd place and I was glad to see that, this self portrait kept me interested fgor the longest time and still does. It shows us much more than the physical appearence of someone and is well composed to say at the least. (Featured by `suzi9mm)

I think thefonz was referring to Obsessive Compulsive Disorder :) I like things organized and am strangely drawn to this photo. Good job

thanks!! shame i couldn't do the concept (or the camera) justice... this kind of shot really needs a studio set up which i am sadly lacking, so i had to make a totally mad set up with ladders, chairs, monopod rope and god knows what else!! still not quite all in focus though, is it ... :blushes:
